• 15-20 Microns: Very fine, smooth, ideal for light ink coverage.
• 22-23 Microns: Fine, for smooth finish on coated paper stock.
• 24-27 Microns: Medium fine, ideal for labels, book cover stock.
• 34-38 Microns: Medium, for label stock, large piles, heavy ink coverage.
• 40-48 Microns: Medium coarse, carton stock, varnishing, larger presses.
• 50-55 Microns: Coarse, for ice cream and cereal boxes, sulfite board.
• 58-65 Microns: Very coarse, for heavy ink coverage, on large carton presses.
• 68 +   Microns: Extra coarse, for largest presses, very heavy ink coverage.
